Founders Day 2008 - District Events
As part of the Founders Day 2008 Celebration, the Holland District will be hosting two events to coincide with the Annual Festivities hosted by the Holland Club.
The Annual Holland District Founders Day Golf Tournament will take place on Friday, May 16, 2008 at the Suffolk Golf Course on Holland Road in Suffolk, Virginia. Cost is $75 per person (fee includes Dinner, Drinks on the course, and Golf with Cart) and the format will be Florida Best Ball. Hole sponsorships are available for $100, or in conjunction with a full page ad in the Holland District Yearbook for $150.
The evening of May 17, 2008 (Founders Day), the District will host its annual evening Dinner and Banquet at the Holland Community House, following all of the day's festivities. Tickets are available for this event for $15 per person. If you wish to attend, please fill out the form below and return as soon as possible.
Registration for these events is available until May 1, 2008. Tickets for the Founders Day BBQ Cookoff are available separately from the Holland Club - more information on other Founders Day Events can be found at http://www.hollandruritanclub.org/.
Founders Day Weekend 2008 is almost here! The Holland Ruritan Club once again will be hosting Founders Day the weekend of May 16, 2008 in Holland, Virginia - home of America's First Ruritan Club and the Ruritan National Monument. As always, there will be a memorial service, parade and lots of fellowship with your fellow Ruritans. All of this will be rounded out by an afternoon of entertainment wrapped up with a spectacular fireworks display.
In addition, back by popular demand, the HRC will once again be featuring the 3rd Annual Ruritan Barbeque Competition, where Ruritan Clubs from across the nation will square off for the title of America's Best Ruritan Barbeque.
